Christ First
Christ First is a growing and diverse church just outside of St. Louis who is looking for a Young Adults and Communications/Media resident to join their team!
What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your church?
We are hoping to enhance the way we reach the community in the name of Jesus. We want to continue to grow as a church that wins and ministers to the whole family. We would like to use our spaces and our resources to help people follow Christ with their lives and multiply our Kingdom impact by growing disciples who reach others. We are in the process of building out the lower level of our church building to include much needed spaces for youth, young adults, men and women’s ministries. We also have a dream to begin a counseling center and a Christian high school which would be a continuation of our current K-8 school hosted on our campus.
Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hopeful will happen through this process?
We are aware of our need as a growing church in this community for leadership particularly in the areas of Young Adult ministry and communication. We are hopeful that we can find a candidate who would be a good long term fit for the mission and ministry of our church. Additionally, we are hopeful to increase our potential as a teaching and sending church, helping to raise up the next generation of leaders for kingdom work.
What is it like to work on staff there?
Here you will find a flexible climate where creativity and innovation are desired and honored.
Christ is put at the forefront of what we do and we have a strong culture of trust and
empowerment.
