What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your church?
We are excited about the future of our student ministry! We are so looking forward to having a full staff, all serving to the best of the potential in their areas of expertise. Our church is ready to see continued growth with our emphasis on ministering to families. Our next student minister will be here and plugged in, looking for a long, sustained, fruitful ministry.
Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hopeful will happen through this process?
We are excited about the opportunity to help lay the foundation for a life of ministry. This is something that we take very seriously and we believe partnering with Leadership Pathway is almost a guarantee of success in helping us accomplish that goal.
What is it like to work on staff there?
Our staff is laid back and we enjoy each other’s company. While we are all in different stages of life, there is great support amongst the group. We take our work seriously but we also like to have fun!

What qualities does it take to “win” on staff at your church?
Wins to us aren’t about numbers, they are about seeing our people “get it!” When they realize that being a follower of Christ is about putting our desires away and seeking His will in their lives. We “get it” as a church when ware able to accomplish ministry that could only be accomplished by God’s guidance and His power, so that He gets all the glory!
Who will the resident report to? Will there be a different person acting as coach?
The resident will report to me, Bucky, the Lead Minister.
