The following is a Q&A with Missy O’Connor, Kids Ministries Director:

What are your greatest hopes and dreams for the next couple of years for your church?

We are just opening our church as a community center, and we are excited to bless our community with our space. As we continue to grow, we desire for people to come to know Jesus and deepen their relationship with him. We want to continue to look to Jesus, embrace our community, and engage culture.

Why did you choose to do a residency & what are you hopeful will happen through this process?

We want to build the next leader who understands NorthPoint. We also know the importance of developing leaders in the church and want to continue to show people what it is like to work at a church. We are hopeful that this person would be well prepared to lead a ministry and hirable by our church staff or by another local church.

What is it like to work on staff there?

We are a close-knit staff that works hard but who also like to have a lot of fun.
